Welcome to The Ark, an Australian Outback Wildlife Sanctuary.
The Ark is a refuge for orphaned or injured native animals near Litchfield National Park in the Northern Territory of Australia. It is the ideal place for rehabilitated Kangaroos to be released back into the wild.
On the Ark these animals are fed and nurtured with great care and dedication.
The property is a private piece of Australian bushland, founded by resident owner Nina Keener on her own initiative. The idea grew out of her love for Kangaroos and other native animals.
Consequently there is no financial aid from outside sources.
Please find out more about the Ark and Nina Keeners work in the Outback of Australia on the following pages and how you can become part of her rescue work.
